We introduce the thoughts of Keisuke Miyachi, the representative who designed and fitted Zodia clubs and built the Zodia brand in close collaboration with master craftsman Fumio Chiba.

I want to spread the word about Chiba's polishing techniques worldwide.

Miyachi started playing golf when he was 23 years old and working as a salaried employee.

As part of his job, he taught himself how to make putters. He took the putters he made to a local tournament and, without an appointment, had top pros try them out and give them high praise, which gave him a sense of accomplishment. He then quit his job to pursue a career as a professional golfer, but his experience making clubs for himself sparked his interest in the world of design and development.

He became convinced that Fumio Chiba was the only one who could shape a club exactly as he envisioned it, so he tracked down Chiba, whom he had met only once before, and visited him to convey his feelings.

After establishing KM Produce, the predecessor of Zodia, he became the representative of the current "Zodia," where he is in charge of club design and crafting (assembly and adjustment). His skills were highly valued, and he spent four years adjusting the clubs of PGA professional Isao Aoki (currently a senior).

He also has experience as a caddie for LPGA professional Ikuyo Shiotani (currently a senior player).

In October 2011, Zodia opened its first directly managed store, "Zodia addict," in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, as an affiliated company.
